|Health:|| Neutered, Vaccinations Current | My name is Atticus and I am looking for a new home. I am a handsome and loveable 2 1/2 year old, 50 lb. Mastiff/Shar Pei mix. I was rescued from the Nevada Humane Society over two years ago by my parents, but due to a recent change in circumstances, I can no longer live at my current home. I am house and crate trained. I have worked on both my leash and e-collar training, but I still have to have the leash on when outside in neighborhoods as I like to see everything that is going on in the world and have gotten into fights with other dogs before. And I am up to date on all my shots. I am very dominant and have occasional aggression towards ... (Read More)other people and dogs. I do not like young children or babies and I doubt I ever will. I am wary of unfamiliar people and I have been known to growl and lunge at those I am wary about. I can become protective of my chosen humans, but to those I accept, I am extremely loyal and lovable and will climb my large bulk into your lap while watching TV or reading a book. I am looking for a nice home with a large fenced yard (I like to run a lot!) and a family that has history dealing with aggressive dogs. I would be perfect for a man, woman, or couple looking for a big, cuddly companion or a family with teenage children. I have lived with other dogs. But at this time I don't think I would do well unless the other dogs were submissive. I grew up with a pack and they are all gone and I find it hard to meet and make friends. I must meet all prospective parents first. I come with a lot of my favorite toys and supplies to make transition to my new home easier. I know that I can be a handful, but that doesn't mean I can't also be loveable! If interested, and you would like more information, please contact my parents by e-mail at Rhuell13@gmail.com, or call and leave a message at (775) 843-4846. I hope to find a new home soon.
